Mounting 6 zip-ties (supplied): 2 attaching the CombOver to the sides of the down/head tubes, needing a roughly flat vertical area 290 x 12mm; 4 attaching the Toupee Gravel at the fork crown, inside or outside the fork legs, with hook-and-loop pads (supplied).
Compatibility Any rigid gravel bike: any wheel and frame size; tyres up to 60mm. Disc brakes only. E-bikes: some tapered down tubes may not suit the CombOver, or where the zip-tie may block battery removal (see FAQ).
Material Polypropylene (PP, recycling code 5) — tough, weatherproof, UV-stable, flexes and springs back.
Warranty 12-month against manufacturing defects.
Fitting Instructions
Fits in a few minutes, using 6 zip-ties and hook-and-loop pads - all supplied. Each piece fits independently, and full steps live on its own page:
- CombOver (2 zip-ties): see CombOver fitting. About a minute, one zip-tie either side of the down tube.
- Toupee Gravel (4 zip-ties, and pads): see Toupee Gravel fitting. Mount it outside the fork legs for full tyre clearance - and mounted outside, it can't clog - or inside if brake hoses, etc. get in the way.
FAQs
Will it cause toe overlap?
No - it sits at the crown, well above and clear of the arc your toes sweep. And because the CombOver covers the direct mud path from the frame, nothing needs to hang low enough to catch your toes.
Will it keep me completely clean?
No! The Full Facial Gravel is born of a philosophy that only the face truly needs to be protected: keeping mud out of your eyes and mouth. In practice you'll be clean from your chest upwards.

Do I need anything else?
No. The set is the complete system: the CombOver blocks mud flung directly up off the back of the wheel, the Toupee Gravel blocks mud thrown indirectly up and forwards then blown back at you. Together they keep your face clean at any speed you'll ride. See How They Work for more details.
Why two small mudguards instead of one big one?
Because the mud takes two separate paths to your face, and they're best blocked from two different places - each close to your bike, where a small shield does the job. A single guard big enough to do both jobs is a compromise - they end-up heavier and stick-out more. See How They Work for more details.
Will it fit my bike?
Any rigid gravel bike with disc brakes: any wheel size, frame size, tyres up to 60mm. The Toupee Gravel mounts inside or outside the fork legs to suit your fork.

Yes - the CombOver and Toupee Gravel each have their own page. The set just gets you both for less.
